Our nearest batching plant to Mumbai is at Sewri, with a typical loaded travel time of about 30 minutes. For sites inside our core service radius we despatch within 60 minutes of a confirmed order, subject to slot availability. Book the previous evening for a morning slab pour and mixers will be at your gate at the agreed time.
A transit mixer carries 6 cubic metres. We do supply less, but a part load below 6 cum attracts a flat charge because the drum and the trip are committed either way. Below about 3 cum, site-mixed concrete is usually more economical and we will tell you so.
100 percent advance. Payment must be credited before the mixer leaves the plant. We accept NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI. A GST invoice is raised against every despatch and input credit is available to registered buyers. We do not operate credit accounts, which is exactly why our rates stay where they are.
M25 is the practical default for residential slabs, beams and columns. M20 is the absolute minimum permitted by IS 456 for reinforced concrete. If the element touches soil or water, or the site is near the coast, step up to M30 with a blended cement regardless of what the strength calculation alone suggests.
Yes. Line pumps and boom placers are arranged as a separately charged service. Line pumping carries a 15 cum minimum, boom placers a 30 cum minimum. Confirm placement equipment when you book, because equipment availability is more often the scheduling constraint than concrete availability.
Design working life is 90 to 120 minutes from batching, controlled by retarder dosage set against haul distance and ambient temperature. Beyond that window slump loss becomes irreversible, and adding water on site destroys the strength you have paid for. Never allow water to be added to the drum at site.
Yes, at no charge. Cubes are cast at the sampling frequency in IS 456 Clause 15, and we issue 7 day and 28 day compressive strength reports on letterhead. Every load also carries a batch report showing the actual weighed quantity of each ingredient.
No. All rates shown are ex-GST per cubic metre. Ready mix concrete attracts 18 percent GST under HSN 3824 50 10. The final invoice shows the basic rate, any pumping or part-load charges, and GST separately.
Yes. Night and holiday pours are common where daytime traffic restrictions apply, and large rafts are often deliberately scheduled overnight for continuity. A night surcharge applies between 10 PM and 6 AM. Book at least 24 hours ahead for night slots.
Light rain during placement is manageable with covering and care. Sustained rain compromises the surface and the water-cement ratio, and the correct decision is to stop. If we have already despatched and you postpone at short notice, loads on the road are chargeable, so watch the forecast before confirming a slab pour.
RMC stands for ready mix concrete: concrete batched to a designed proportion at a central plant and delivered to site in a transit mixer, ready to place. It is the opposite of site mixed concrete, where cement, sand, aggregate and water are proportioned by hand in a mixer at the site itself.
For anything structural, yes, and the reason is consistency rather than strength on paper. RMC is batched by weight under computer control, so every cubic metre is the same. Site mixing proportions by volume using head pans or a farma, which drifts through the day with labour, moisture in the sand and how full the pan happens to be. RMC also eliminates material storage, theft and wastage on congested plots. For small pours under about 3 cubic metres, site mixing is usually still cheaper and we will say so.
Roughly 6.4 bags. M25 needs a minimum of 320 kg of cement per cubic metre and a bag holds 50 kg, which gives 6.4 bags. M20 works out to about 6 bags at 300 kg, and M30 to about 6.8 bags at 340 kg. These are minimum durability figures from IS 456; the actual design mix may carry more cement depending on aggregate grading and the admixture used.
For a 125 mm thick slab, 1000 square feet works out to about 11.6 cubic metres, so two transit mixers. At 150 mm thickness it is roughly 14 cubic metres. Add about 3 to 5 percent for wastage, formwork deflection and any level correction. Send us the slab dimensions and thickness and we will calculate it properly, including the beams, which people usually forget to include.
18 percent. Ready mix concrete is classified under HSN 3824 50 10. If you are GST registered, the input credit is available to you, so the effective cost is the basic rate. Every despatch is invoiced with the basic rate, additional charges and GST shown as separate lines.
M25 for most residential slabs, beams and columns. M20 is the minimum that IS 456 permits for reinforced concrete, and it is adequate for small G+1 or G+2 structures in mild exposure. Step up to M30 if the slab is a terrace exposed to weather, if the structure is near the coast, or if any element will sit in contact with soil or water.
The number is the characteristic compressive strength in megapascals at 28 days, so M25 is 25 percent stronger than M20 on paper. The more important difference is durability: M20 permits a water-cement ratio up to 0.55 with 300 kg of cement, while M25 tightens that to 0.50 with 320 kg. The lower water-cement ratio is what keeps water and chlorides out of the concrete and stops the reinforcement corroding, which is what actually determines how long the structure lasts.
Multiply length by width by thickness in metres to get cubic metres, then add the beam volumes separately. A 10 m by 10 m slab at 0.125 m thick is 12.5 cubic metres. Order in whole mixer loads of 6 cubic metres where you can, because part loads carry a flat charge. Send us your dimensions and we will do the calculation and tell you honestly if you are better off with one mixer than two.
Yes. Individual house builders are a large part of what we do in Mumbai. The practical floor is about 3 cubic metres, below which site mixing usually costs less. Between 3 and 6 cubic metres you pay a part-load charge but still get weigh-batched concrete and a cube report, which most self-builders find worth it for a slab they will live under.
Payment is credited in full before the mixer leaves the plant. NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI accepted. A GST invoice is raised against every despatch and input credit is available to registered buyers.
We do not run credit accounts and we do not chase retention. That is a deliberate choice: it is why our rate holds where it does and why your slot never gets given away to a customer with a better payment history.
