Ready mix concrete · Uttar Pradesh
Ready mix concrete batched to IS 456 and on your slab before it loses slump. M7.5 to M60 from Rs. 3,830 per cubic metre, delivered to site in Uttar Pradesh in roughly 60 minutes from our Regional partner plant plant.
Introduction
Concrete is the one material on your site that starts working against you the moment it is made. From the second water meets cement you have roughly ninety minutes of usable life, and everything that matters about choosing a supplier follows from that single fact. We built our operation in Uttar Pradesh around it.
Metal Ministry Inc supplies weigh-batched ready mix concrete across Uttar Pradesh and the surrounding Lucknow, Noida, Kanpur, Varanasi belt, in grades from M7.5 through to M60. Our nearest batching plant is at Regional partner plant, which puts a loaded transit mixer at most sites in Uttar Pradesh in about 60 minutes, comfortably inside the working life of the mix. Rates start at Rs. 3,830 per cubic metre for ordinary grades and Rs. 4,950 for M25, the grade most residential slabs call for, with GST charged separately at 18 percent.
Uttar Pradesh combines NCR-adjacent commercial construction with large-scale infrastructure and expanding tier-two residential markets.
Every load is proportioned by weight under computer control rather than by volume, and leaves the plant with a printed batch report showing the actual quantity of cement, aggregate, sand, water and admixture it contains. Cubes are cast on site at the sampling frequency laid down in IS 456, and the 7 and 28 day compressive strength results come to you on our letterhead at no charge. If a result ever falls short, we investigate it with you rather than around you. Our terms are 100 percent advance, without exception, which is the reason our rates hold where they do and the reason your booked slot never gets handed to somebody else.
Grades
Concrete is specified by grade, and the grade is chosen from the element you are casting and the environment it will live in, never from the cheapest line on a rate card. The families below cover everything we batch, and the full table that follows gives the specification and the delivered rate for each one.
Non-structural concrete for levelling courses, blinding below footings, plinth filling and light-duty flooring. There is no reinforcement to protect, so cement content is modest and the mix is priced accordingly. Unglamorous work, but a badly laid blinding course will misalign every bar placed on top of it.
The grades that build most of India. M20 is the minimum IS 456 permits for reinforced concrete, M25 is the practical default for residential slabs, beams and columns, and M30 upward is specified once durability rather than strength governs, as it does in basements, water tanks and anything within reach of coastal air.
Designed mixes for lower-storey columns in tall towers, transfer girders, piling, precast yards and marine structures. These carry high cement content, tightly controlled water-cement ratios and high-range water reducers, and every mix above M50 is proven by trial batch before the first load leaves the plant.
Any grade can be supplied as a pumpable mix, adjusted for cohesion and slump retention so it travels through a line pump or boom placer without segregating or blocking. Tell us the placement method when you book, because the mix design changes with it.
Flows into place and consolidates under its own weight with no vibration at all. The right answer where reinforcement is so congested that a needle vibrator physically cannot reach, such as shear wall junctions and heavily detailed column heads.
Steel or polypropylene fibres dosed into the mix to control shrinkage cracking across wide unjointed bays. Standard specification for warehouse and industrial floors, and for sprayed concrete in slope stabilisation work.
Blended cement mixes for foundations sitting in saline groundwater, reclaimed land or creek-side plots, which describes a great deal of construction around Mumbai. Protects the sub-structure from sulphate attack that ordinary Portland cement will not survive.
Designed for flexural strength rather than compressive strength alone, for roads, hardstanding, container yards and approach ramps. Placement rate and finishing discipline determine ride quality here more than the mix design does.

Speed
Concrete is the only building material you buy that starts failing the moment it is made. Everything below exists to protect the ninety minutes you actually have.
Our nearest plant to Uttar Pradesh keeps loaded haul time to roughly 60 minutes, well inside the working life of the mix. Distance, not price, is the first thing we check when you call.
For sites inside our core radius we can despatch within an hour of a confirmed order and payment, subject to slot availability. Same-day top-up loads are routine.
For continuous pours we stage mixers and release them against your placement rate, so the previous layer has not set before the next arrives and you never get a cold joint.
Retarder and plasticiser are dosed at the plant against distance to Uttar Pradesh and the ambient temperature on the day. No extra charge, and no need to add water at site.
Where daytime restrictions bite, we run night and early-morning despatch. Large rafts are often deliberately scheduled overnight for continuity.
Each mixer carries a batch report showing actual weighed quantities and time of batching, so you can verify the mix and the age of the load at the gate.
Where it goes
Grade selection is a durability decision as much as a strength decision. Pick from the element you are casting and the environment it will sit in, not from the cheapest number on the rate card.
Suspended floor slabs, podium decks and terrace slabs. Slump is set at 120 to 150 mm for pumped placement, and continuity of supply matters more than any other factor, because a cold joint in the middle of a slab is a permanent defect.
Vertical members carry the highest stresses in a tall building and are poured into tight, congested formwork. Higher slump with smaller aggregate improves flow around dense reinforcement without segregation.
Large monolithic pours where heat of hydration must be controlled. Blended cements reduce peak temperature, and mixer cycling is planned so the previous layer has not set before the next arrives.
Tremie-placed concrete requires high cohesion and high slump with no segregation. A pile pour must not be interrupted, so mixers are staged before starting rather than despatched as the pour proceeds.
Water-retaining and earth-retaining elements are governed by permeability, not strength. A low water-cement ratio with an integral waterproofing admixture is what actually keeps a basement dry.
Large-area floors with flatness tolerances and abrasion resistance requirements. Steel or polypropylene fibre dosing controls shrinkage cracking across the wide unjointed bays modern warehouses demand.
Pavement quality concrete designed for flexural strength rather than compressive strength alone. Placement rate and finishing discipline determine ride quality more than the mix design does.
Liquid-retaining structures under IS 3370, where crack width control governs the design. That means low water-cement ratio, disciplined curing and a mix that will not shrink away from the reinforcement.
Non-structural layers under footings, floors and pavements. Cheap, fast and unglamorous, but a poor blinding layer will misalign every bar laid on top of it.
Factory or yard casting where early strength governs the demoulding cycle. Consistency between batches matters more than any single batch result.
Specification
Every grade below is a design mix, not a nominal mix. Proportions are established by trial, batched by weight, and verified by cube testing.
Designed to IS 10262 and compliant with the minimum cement content and maximum water-cement ratio in IS 456 Table 5 for the exposure class. Trial mixes for M50 and above.
OPC 53 grade or PPC as the durability requirement dictates, crushed basalt coarse aggregate, washed river or manufactured sand, and admixtures conforming to IS 9103.
Computer-controlled weigh batching. Volumetric batching is not used. The printed batch report shows the actual weight of every ingredient in your load.
Slump set against placement method: chute, line pump or boom placer. Measured at the plant and verifiable at site before discharge.
Cubes cast at IS 456 Clause 15 sampling frequency, cured and broken at 7 and 28 days. Reports issued on letterhead at no charge.
20 mm nominal for general structural work, 12.5 mm where reinforcement is congested or the section is thin. Tell us the bar spacing and we will advise.
Order to pour
Six steps, in this order, every time. Nothing here is a surprise on the day of the pour.
Give us the grade from your structural drawing, the volume in cubic metres, the pour date and the site address. If you do not know the volume, send the element dimensions and we will work it out.
You get a written quote showing basic rate, pumping charge, any part-load charge and GST, plus a confirmed despatch slot and the plant we will supply from.
Payment is credited before the first mixer leaves the plant. NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI. GST invoice raised against despatch.
The mix is batched by weight against your grade specification. Each mixer leaves with a batch report and a delivery challan showing time of batching.
Mixers arrive in sequence to keep the pour continuous. Cubes are cast on site at IS 456 sampling frequency in your engineer's presence.
Compressive strength results are issued on letterhead. If a result falls short we investigate it with you rather than around you.
Payment is credited in full before the mixer leaves the plant. NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI accepted. A GST invoice is raised against every despatch and input credit is available to registered buyers.
We do not run credit accounts and we do not chase retention. That is a deliberate choice: it is why our rate holds where it does and why your slot never gets given away to a customer with a better payment history.

Questions
Our nearest batching plant to Uttar Pradesh is at Regional partner plant, with a typical loaded travel time of about 60 minutes. For sites inside our core service radius we despatch within 60 minutes of a confirmed order, subject to slot availability. Book the previous evening for a morning slab pour and mixers will be at your gate at the agreed time.
A transit mixer carries 6 cubic metres. We do supply less, but a part load below 6 cum attracts a flat charge because the drum and the trip are committed either way. Below about 3 cum, site-mixed concrete is usually more economical and we will tell you so.
100 percent advance. Payment must be credited before the mixer leaves the plant. We accept NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI. A GST invoice is raised against every despatch and input credit is available to registered buyers. We do not operate credit accounts, which is exactly why our rates stay where they are.
M25 is the practical default for residential slabs, beams and columns. M20 is the absolute minimum permitted by IS 456 for reinforced concrete. If the element touches soil or water, or the site is near the coast, step up to M30 with a blended cement regardless of what the strength calculation alone suggests.
Yes. Line pumps and boom placers are arranged as a separately charged service. Line pumping carries a 15 cum minimum, boom placers a 30 cum minimum. Confirm placement equipment when you book, because equipment availability is more often the scheduling constraint than concrete availability.
Design working life is 90 to 120 minutes from batching, controlled by retarder dosage set against haul distance and ambient temperature. Beyond that window slump loss becomes irreversible, and adding water on site destroys the strength you have paid for. Never allow water to be added to the drum at site.
Yes, at no charge. Cubes are cast at the sampling frequency in IS 456 Clause 15, and we issue 7 day and 28 day compressive strength reports on letterhead. Every load also carries a batch report showing the actual weighed quantity of each ingredient.
No. All rates shown are ex-GST per cubic metre. Ready mix concrete attracts 18 percent GST under HSN 3824 50 10. The final invoice shows the basic rate, any pumping or part-load charges, and GST separately.
Yes. Night and holiday pours are common where daytime traffic restrictions apply, and large rafts are often deliberately scheduled overnight for continuity. A night surcharge applies between 10 PM and 6 AM. Book at least 24 hours ahead for night slots.
Light rain during placement is manageable with covering and care. Sustained rain compromises the surface and the water-cement ratio, and the correct decision is to stop. If we have already despatched and you postpone at short notice, loads on the road are chargeable, so watch the forecast before confirming a slab pour.
RMC stands for ready mix concrete: concrete batched to a designed proportion at a central plant and delivered to site in a transit mixer, ready to place. It is the opposite of site mixed concrete, where cement, sand, aggregate and water are proportioned by hand in a mixer at the site itself.
For anything structural, yes, and the reason is consistency rather than strength on paper. RMC is batched by weight under computer control, so every cubic metre is the same. Site mixing proportions by volume using head pans or a farma, which drifts through the day with labour, moisture in the sand and how full the pan happens to be. RMC also eliminates material storage, theft and wastage on congested plots. For small pours under about 3 cubic metres, site mixing is usually still cheaper and we will say so.
Roughly 6.4 bags. M25 needs a minimum of 320 kg of cement per cubic metre and a bag holds 50 kg, which gives 6.4 bags. M20 works out to about 6 bags at 300 kg, and M30 to about 6.8 bags at 340 kg. These are minimum durability figures from IS 456; the actual design mix may carry more cement depending on aggregate grading and the admixture used.
For a 125 mm thick slab, 1000 square feet works out to about 11.6 cubic metres, so two transit mixers. At 150 mm thickness it is roughly 14 cubic metres. Add about 3 to 5 percent for wastage, formwork deflection and any level correction. Send us the slab dimensions and thickness and we will calculate it properly, including the beams, which people usually forget to include.
18 percent. Ready mix concrete is classified under HSN 3824 50 10. If you are GST registered, the input credit is available to you, so the effective cost is the basic rate. Every despatch is invoiced with the basic rate, additional charges and GST shown as separate lines.
M25 for most residential slabs, beams and columns. M20 is the minimum that IS 456 permits for reinforced concrete, and it is adequate for small G+1 or G+2 structures in mild exposure. Step up to M30 if the slab is a terrace exposed to weather, if the structure is near the coast, or if any element will sit in contact with soil or water.
The number is the characteristic compressive strength in megapascals at 28 days, so M25 is 25 percent stronger than M20 on paper. The more important difference is durability: M20 permits a water-cement ratio up to 0.55 with 300 kg of cement, while M25 tightens that to 0.50 with 320 kg. The lower water-cement ratio is what keeps water and chlorides out of the concrete and stops the reinforcement corroding, which is what actually determines how long the structure lasts.
Multiply length by width by thickness in metres to get cubic metres, then add the beam volumes separately. A 10 m by 10 m slab at 0.125 m thick is 12.5 cubic metres. Order in whole mixer loads of 6 cubic metres where you can, because part loads carry a flat charge. Send us your dimensions and we will do the calculation and tell you honestly if you are better off with one mixer than two.
Yes. Individual house builders are a large part of what we do in Uttar Pradesh. The practical floor is about 3 cubic metres, below which site mixing usually costs less. Between 3 and 6 cubic metres you pay a part-load charge but still get weigh-batched concrete and a cube report, which most self-builders find worth it for a slab they will live under.
